Thank you all for a fantastic festival

Gradus International Piano Festival came to an end Wednesday night when the legendary pianist Eugen Indjic gave us a warm, personal and exceptionally beautiful sounding recital!

Tuesday night Alexander Lonquich played his first concert in Denmark and it was a remarkable and intense performance on the highest level!

Also mr. Lonquich masterclasses showed him as a very creative and inspired musician with a wide experience.

Sunday the young Japanese pianist Tomoki Kitamura brought us into a universe of intimacy and the finest nuances and phrasing in piano playing.

We hope to see our master pianists back in Denmark soon again! The young talents took inspiring and intense masterclass from Kirill Kashunin from Moscow and Artur Jaron from Poland.

I want to thank all the participants for giving us so wonderful and various concert experiences- on the highest level!

It has been a pleasure to be with you all and Gradus wishes you all the best in the future! I also want to thank Musikhuset Aarhus, our many Sponsors, the host families and all the good friends and colleagues who helped to make this seventh version of Gradus International Piano

Festival a success!

I wish you all a very nice summer !

Kind regards,

Martin Lysholm
